9th Judgment by James Patterson
Thrown into the mix of the murder spree is also a burglar by the name of Hello Kitty. This person has been breaking into the homes of rich people while they are having dinner and taking the woman’s jewels. Also, the wife of a big-time actor has been killed.
Lindsay Boxer and her partner, Richard Conklin, have their jobs cut out for them trying to solve all of these crimes. You know that by the end of the book that will happen, but it’s high stress and high suspense the whole way through.
I give the book 4 out of 5 stars. This one shook me a little more than Patterson’s books normally do. A killer making targets out of women and their children really had me spooked. Still does! Even though this is fiction, you still can’t help but think that this COULD happen. Keep your eyes open and always be aware of your surroundings.
Can’t wait to read the next book in The Women’s Murder Club series.
